DON'T BE BITTER, BE BETTER

[Dress gifted to me by Collectif Clothing]

Jealously is something I absolutely hate. Jealously serves no purpose to our lives and only strips away the beauty, happiness and joyfulness that we experience on a day-to-day basis. I wanted to write this after watching a Netflix film that represented the facets of jealousy and how dramatically it changed the lives of the people in the film. I just want to sprinkle a little bit of positivity.

I'm not a jealous person, and I never have been. I don't understand it. Of course there might be times where I wish I had something that someone else has got, or times when I might be jealous of somebody else's life. But in my eyes there's two types of jealousy.

You might be jealous of what somebody has but you might still be happy for them – this jealousy is okay. In fact this jealousy is healthy. But then there's the other type of jealousy – the type where you're deeply jealous, bitter and spiteful. This jealousy is very unhealthy.

I honestly wish we could all live in a happy and positive world. A world where jealousy, spite and hatred didn't exist. But that's never going to happen. So instead I've compiled a list on how you can support your friends, your family, your acquaintances and even the people you may not always see eye to eye with:

- Always be kind. Say things in a nice manner and be mindful when it comes to text chat.

- Celebrate other people and their achievements. Has one of your friends started a blog? Support them! Opened a business? Support them! Won something? Support them. Even if you might be a tad envious of their achievements, why bother wasting energy on being jealous? Instead support them, celebrate them and show them that you're happy for everything they have achieved.

- Don't dwell on what you don't have – be grateful for what you DO have. If you concentrate on the things that other people have and you happen to not have those things – then stop. Instead you should look at all of the amazing things you do have.

- Be happy for other people. Being happy for someone else won't dim your light or diminish your own successes, achievements and wins. According to the Law Of Attraction, when we are happy the Universe multiplies that happiness to make us, well, even happier! So it's a win-win when you celebrate your loved ones wins!

- Use other people as your motivation. If I ever feel envious of somebody I try to channel that feeling into something positive. I will use this emotion to motivate me. I won't get upset or bitter, I will simply be happy for them and then work on me. It's really as simple as that.

I hope this post inspires you to be a little more positive and happy when your friends, family and anyone else you encounter has a win in their life.

Being nice, kind, positive and happy are so key. I aim to incorporate all of these things into the way I act, and I hope I can inspire other people to do the same.

Steal Mollie's Style

I'm wearing the most gorgeous new dress from Collectif Clothing. It's by the brand Bright & Beautiful. It's a stunning dress and one I cannot wait to style up many more times this autumn. Expect a new post VERY soon featuring the most beautiful booties.. I cannot wait to have some fun with a different look for this dress!

The dress is the Fae Star Dress by Bright & Beautiful (gifted). I'm wearing a size 18, although I definitely could have opted for the 16 (my usual size) as it's roomy and floaty. I do love how this looks in the size up though and am glad I sized up as it gives it extra length and allows for more room in the sleeves too.

This dress is so beautiful.. stay tuned for more autumnal looks coming soon!
