My goals for 2019, and the steps I'm taking to make them happen

Thursday, 17 January 2019

I am very much goal orientated. I love a good goal. I'm driven, determined, and hard working. Growing up in a single parent family with my fierce, fabulous, and super strong mum raising me, means having goals has always just been a norm for me. I have many long-term goals, lots of short term-goals, and quite a few for 2019...

2018 saw me reach rather a lot of goals – goals I hadn't even contemplated, and goals I had set out clear in my mind. I had a little look back at a post I wrote in 2017 outline the goals I wanted to achieve in 2018, and here's the outcomes of those.

I wanted to embrace my curves more – and I did! I wanted to release my first single – I did! I wanted to improve my mindfulness and mental health – I did! Those are just a few of the things I achieved in 2018. And although I set out goals, I might not always achieve them all. I wanted to come off of antidepressants, but I didn't. And I wanted to fall madly in love, and I still haven't. But I have hope for those two goals in 2019.. so keep your fingers crossed! But, I trust the universe and its divine timing.. so when they're supposed to happen, I guess they will!

I did achieve most goals, but there are one or two that still need to be completed. Instead of beating myself up over the fact that they didn't happen, I'm instead thanking the Universe for not making things happen when they clearly aren't meant to in that moment. The Universe times things perfectly, and I know when things are supposed to happen, that they will!

So, now we've reflected on the past year – it's time to set some new intentions! I'm not into making resolutions.. I used to be a "in the new year I'm getting fit, skinny, and I can't wait to be popular" kind of girl – but I sacked that off a few years ago when I found self love. Setting goals and intentions is far better.. and I always try to make the goals somewhat big, yet still within reach...

I would like 2019 to be the year I delve more into spirituality, Wicca, and Paganism. I would like to again, become more mindful, grounded, and at one with myself. I would like to stop worrying so much. I would like to properly learn the art of tarot reading. I would like my intuition to become more accurate. And I would like to incorporate more Wiccan rituals into my life.

I would like 2019 to be the year that I go the extra mile with my blog. 2019 marks my sixth year blogging.. CRAZY! And I really want to start making it more and more 'me' – I want to post more spiritual/Wiccan related posts, and even more fashion posts, because after all, fashion is my main focus.

I would like 2019 to be the year that I stop comparing myself to others. I don't compare myself to others as much as I used to, but I would like to stop it completely. I want to stop comparing my hair length, my Instagram feed, my personality, my figure, and the way in which I act to other people my age, older, younger... well, just anyone really. I want to stop comparing myself to other girls my age who HAVE got boyfriends, and HAVE had experience in the love department. The universe ensures everything happens at the right time, so I just need to *try* not to stress, force, or worry about anything. I trust the Universe and its divine timing.

Steal Mollie's Style:

In this post, I'm sporting the most gorgeous Floral Top With Ruffle Sleeves from Lovedrobe*. It's perfect for the spring, and looks amazing with leggings, jeans or smart trousers/cigarette pants. I'm also wearing a beautiful KOKO Grey Denim Studded Jacket With Ripped Back Detail*, which is also from Lovedrobe. This outfit is super mystical (especially paired with the woodland setting), and is great dressed casually or smart!

I am so excited for what 2019 has in-store for me, and I am so excited to make it a super successful and exciting year! I want to work hard, achieve lots, find happiness and beauty in everything, and stop worrying about silly little things as much as I do. I also have lots of other goals, but let's see if I can make them happening before spilling the tea too soon!

What do you want to achieve in 2019? Let me know below!
