Party-wear for curvy girls | The perfect Christmas Party Little Black Dress

As a curvy girl, it can be tricky to find the perfect little black dress. When you think of an LBD, you think of a tight fitting body con dress – well, that's what I used to think. LBD's are so much more than body contouring dresses – they can be flattering, floaty, sparkly, and chic. They don't need to be figure hugging, they don't need to expose every inch of you – they just need to make you feel and look fabulous..

For years the thought of an LBD was daunting. Having always had a bit of extra chub, plus the feeling of society judging me for the chub on my body – I just thought that an LBD was out of the question. I have never liked body con dresses, and I doubt that even if I was slim I would like them – I personally don't find them appealing, or attractive. I would much rather sport a dress that's floaty, and princess-like – a dress that makes me feel ladylike and delicate. 

When choosing your LBD, it's important that you feel gorgeous. You don't want to feel uncomfortable, self-conscious, and worried that it's going to ride up. You want it to fit like a glove, flatter your figure, and make you feel like a queen.
