Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter review

As you all probably know, Charlotte Tilbury is the Beyoncé of the makeup world. Charlotte Tilbury makeup is first class and darn right amazing. From her lipsticks, to her foundations, and her skincare, to her eyeshadows – everything she formulates and creates is amazing, and definitely deserves a place on your dressing table. She recently released the next big thing, her Hollywood Flawless Filter – a multi-use product that will change the way you do your makeup, and the way your face looks too! It's not just a primer, it's not just a highlighter, and it's certainly not a foundation. What could this product be, I hear you cry. Well, this product will change your outlook on the makeup products sitting on your vanity.

A 'glowy base' is what we all aspire to have these days, isn't it? A demi-matte finish, with glowing features – the bridge of your nose, cupid's bow, cheekbones, forehead and chin – we want to glow and Charlotte Tilbury has answered our makeup prayers in the form of her new launch. Having trialled this for a couple of weeks now, I can say wholeheartedly that the Hollywood Flawless Filter is amazing and I can vouch for it being worth every single penny too!

The Hollywood Flawless Filter can be applied beneath your makeup or on top of – it's basically a magic want that brightens your features beyond your wildest dreams. Since using this product, I've been applying a little beneath my foundation and then once my foundation has dried off, I'll take the 'magic wand' and dab a little here and there (cupid's bow, nose, cheekbones and inner corners of my eyes), this ensures I have a 'lit from within' glow that's visible all day through.

I've been using the shade '4 Medium' which I thought would be waaay too dark/deep for me, but it's actually absolutely fine for your pale girl over here! I'm super pale, as you all know, but this stunning product in a medium shade doesn't make me look too dark, orange or 'cakey', instead it adds a little more depth, ensures my skin looks airbrushed and means I don't need to contour as much.. amazing, right?

Retailing at £30 from www.CharlotteTilbury.com, the Hollywood Flawless Filter in the shade '4 Medium' is perfect for me, especially as we approach the spring and summer months. In the winter I might have to drop down to shade 2, but for now, this shade is perfect and I dread the day I run our of this sunshine in a bottle, because it works wonders on my complexion.. I can't recommend it enough!
