ICONIC LONDON Day-to-Slay Palette Review + Swatches!

Saturday, 28 October 2017

Palettes - what girl doesn't love them? The amount of palettes I own has really grown over the past few years and I have no shame whatsoever. But a palette that has every eye shade you'll ever long for - gosh, they're hard to come by, or are they? Not now I've discovered the stunning Day-to-Slay palette by Iconic London...

As seen in Glamour Magazine and of course on some of the best beauty blogs around, the Iconic London Day-to-Slay palette contains the best gold hued rose and natural shades around. Just a heads up - this palette (and the accompanying eye brush set, also by Iconic London) would make the most AMAZING Christmas present, would it not? Whether you're debating whether or not to buy this for your daughter, BFF or sister, or maybe you're debating whether or not you should add this to your Christmas list - be sure to continue reading as this post will confirm your needs for this gorgeous palette!

Shade breakdowns & swatches

First row:
In The Nude // Beautiful silky matte nude, perfect for the transition shade in the crease
Champagne Chic // The most amazing champagne gold - perfect for an all-over colour
24K Gold // Again, perfect as an all-over colour, this gorgeous deeply pigmented gold will definitely turn heads!
Deep Soul // A deep chocolate silky matte - perfect for the outer V

Second row:
VIP Vibes // Another gorgeous champagne hues gold, but with more of a rose gold shift
Copper Mi Fancy // A gorgeous rusty copper metallic with amazing pigmentation
Ultimate Tan // The perfect rust matte which works beautifully in the crease when creating a rusty eye look
Closing Party // The most amazing deep, sparkly beige neutral

Third row:
Bronze Bae // An amazing bronze hues gold with a slight rust/orange shift
Taupe D'Taupe // A wonderful beige/nude - again, perfect as a transition shade
Merlot Monday's // THE most amazing pink hued wine/berry shade
Velvet Crush // A deep, dark and sultry brown with a berry shift

Fourth row:
Peaches & Dreams // A creamy, dreamy peach toned matte shadow
Peach Fizz // The most amazingly pigmented peach hued champagne shade
Bellini // A deep terracotta shade
Rags to Riches // With similar undertones to Bellini, Rags to Riches would be amazing used on top of Bellini (when used as a transition shade)

Fifth row:
Icon // This shade is the most gorgeous silver hued pink EVER - it looks like crushed diamonds on your eyelids
Marshmallow // Perfect used in conjunction with Icon, Marshmallow is a gorgeous light and airy matte
Wonderland // A beautiful, show-stopping sparkly pink which looks FLAWLESS when used with Girl Boss
Girl Boss // A deep pink which has the most amazing glitter pigment within

As you can see from the above swatches - the pigment that each shade has is TRULY amazing. Without a doubt, the most amazing palette I have ever owned, the Iconic Day-to-Slay palette is a true gem that should definitely be beneath everybody's Christmas Tree this year.

You can create endless eye looks with this amazing palette - from day time looks that are natural and classic, to sultry sparkly looks that slay in the evening - this palette has it all. And when used in conjunction with the Complete Eye Set in Cream and Gold by Iconic London - you really can achieve flawless results that are both pigmented and long-lasting.

Now, let's think back to something I mentioned earlier - Christmas gifting. And let me ask you again - how perfect would these two products be if gifted to a loved one (or yourself) this Christmas? I honestly couldn't think of another gift that I'd like to receive more. Any girl (or guy) no matter what their age may be, would 100% appreciate this wonderful duo!

The Iconic London Day-to-Slay Eyeshadow Palette retails at £45 & the Iconic London Complete Eye Set in Cream and Gold retails at £39.99 - both bought directly from Iconic London's Official Website.
