Autumn Beauty Picks | The Body Shop, Tropic, Woods of Windsor + more!

Monday, 23 October 2017

Don't you just LOVE it when it gets to this time of the year? For me, autumn means pampering! I adore pampering all year through, but for some reason it's more fun pampering in the cooler months, it's also much more important to look after your skin in the cooler months too. Within this post you'll discover my current FAVOURITE autumn beauty picks - from new launches to old favourites and super greens to pumpkin spice... this post has it all!

Tropic Super Greens Nutrient Boost Serum

I've been using the wonderful Super Greens Nutrient Boost Serum by Tropic for around a month now, and oh wow - it's actually incredible. I was very intrigued by this uber green serum, I was dubious too, but nonetheless I took the plunge. And I am so glad that I did. The Tropic Super Greens Nutrient Boost Serum is a wonderful bright green serum - which in fact feels more like an oil - that you massage into your face every night before bed. This then feeds your skin with a much-needed dose of super greens! Containing Chlorophyll, Kale and Maca Root to deliver essential vitamins to the deeper layers of your skin - this wonderful serum is lightweight, fast absorbing and comforting for your skin. Since using this serum, my skin feels more hydrated, looks more glowy than usual and redness has been reduced. At £42, this serum is of course a considered purchase but totally worth every penny!

The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin Body Range

When I saw The Body Shop had released their new Halloween festive range - Vanilla Pumpkin, I kinda squealed with pure delight because... duhh PUMPKINS, AUTUMN, HALLOWEEN!!! I rushed down to my local TBS and I grabbed three of the beautifully scented products from their range. I picked up the Shower Gel, Body Butter and Shimmer Mist (I can't find a link - sorry!). I usedthese gorgeous products when I'm having a pamper evening (which is most evenings, I won't lie). The Shower Gel works so well as a bubble bath/bath foam/bath gel, and leaves the bath water and my body smelling delicious! I then get out, dry myself off and cover myself in the Body Butter (my holy grail body care product, TBS' body butter is the best thing since sliced bread... honestly!) and then when I'm in my PJs I'll spritz loads (probably too much) of the Shimmer Mist all over me and put it together and what have you got... bibity, bopity boo - I'm a pumpkin! See what I did there?

Sukin Super Greens Body Contouring Crème

Sukin is an Australian Skincare brand that has an amazing brand ethos. Boasting of being a cruelty free and fully vegan brand, Sukin never use parabens, synthetic fragrances, sulphates or mineral oils in their products - which is just wonderful! Their new Body Contouring Crème is a wonderful cream that tones and smooths the skin, I love using this product on my thighs as it works very well on cellulite! Infused with Kale, Spirulina, Chlorella and Parsley, this wonderful cream nourishes, replenishes, tones and invigorates the skin, which in turn keeps it in tip-top condition throughout the seasons.

Woods of Windsor Blackberry & Thyme Gardeners Range

Perfect for the cooler months, the Woods of Windsor Blackberry & Thyme Gardeners Range is a wonderful hand care range that will keep your hands silky smooth throughout autumn through to winter. The Blackberry & Thyme Moisturising Hand Wash (£6.99) is an opulent hand wash which us infused with the fragrance of Blackberry and Thyme, Green Tea, Rosemary, Mimosa, Jasmine, Musk and Amber. The Hand Wash contains antibacterial and healing properties and is rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids too. The Blackberry & Thyme Exfoliating Hand Scrub (£4.99) is a gorgeous, rich hand scrub that again, is infused with the same fragrances. Containing pumice, which cleanses, removes dirt, dead skin cells and bacteria, this gorgeous scrub treats and cares for your hands. The Blackberry & Thyme Nourishing Hand Cream (£5.99) is a luxurious hand cream which nourishes your hands and cares for them throughout the seasons. Easily absorbed, this gorgeous hand cream smells divine and contains the same infusions of fragrance as the rest of this stunning range by Woods of Windsor!

L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Le Vernis A L'Huile

The L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Le Vernis A L'Huile nail colours are honestly stunning. By far the best drugstore nail lacquers I have ever applied to my nails. Not only is the bottle stunning, but the brush/applicator is the perfect size, the formulation of the lacquer is perfect and the longevity of the product is incredible. I've discovered three gorgeous shades, that I feel are a perfect fit for these autumnal months. 666 Vert Absinthe - a beautiful Khaki green; 556 Grenat Irreverent - a beautiful deep wine hued brown; and 667 L'atelier Choco - the most amazing woody brown shade. These nail polishes retail at £5.99 and once you try them - you'll wonder how you ever lived without them!

Each of the above featured products are holy grail staples within my autumn beauty regime. From perfectly polished nails, silky smooth skin and a beautifully fragranced body - autumn is a wonderful time of the year to a well-deserved pamper.

What's your must-have autumn beauty pick?
