Makeup products I'll definitely be re-purchasing

Saturday, 12 August 2017

Makeup purchases come and go... there will be some products that we definitely won't re-purchase, some that might re-purchase and some that we will 100% be re-purchasing in the near future. This summer I have discovered some amazing makeup - both drugstore and high-end - I just have to share these beautiful finds with you all because I'll definitely be re-purchasing them, which in turn means I 100% recommend each and every product featured within this post. Keep on reading to discover my current must-haves...

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadows

The Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise cream eyeshadow range (£22 each) is a gorgeous range that I discovered a few weeks back. As soon as I saw this product, I just had to have it! I have both the shades JEAN and BETTE from this collection. JEAN - a gorgeous champagne hued shadow and BETTE - a beautiful gold. Both shades glitter and glimmer in the light and look absolutely stunning. The Eyes To Mesmerise cream shadows last for a very lengthy time, don't crease easily and look gorgeous all day long. The formulation is creamy, light, airy and almost looks and feels 'whipped'. The packaging is sleek, weighty and oozes with opulence. I adore these cream shadows and would definitely repurchase both shades I already own, along with an abundance of other shades I so clearly need!

3ina The Cream Eyeshadow in 313

3ina is a brand I have recently discovered and a brand that I don't think I will ever stop using! This August, a range of their bestsellers was released and I was lucky enough to get the chance to try some of the amazing bits from the collection - The Cream Eyeshadow in 313 (£8.95) being one of them. If you haven't tried this cream eyeshadow yet.. you need too. You literally have to get your hands on one and try it - it's so bloody amazing! I've never known a cream eyeshadow to stay in place for as long as this - it's like permanent marker, it doesn't budge, it doesn't crease and it sticks like a glue! It takes much longer to remove than any other eyeshadow I have used before, purely because it's waterproof - so I'll forgive it that one and only sin!

Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in Golden Quartz

I have such a weird eye colour - it's a cross between brown, gold and green - this makes it awkward to find eyeliner shades to match perfectly to my eye colour. Charlotte Tilbury's Colour Chameleon in Golden Quartz (£19) is a beautiful product that has solved this very problem. Formulated for those of us with Hazel-hued eyes, this gorgeous eye pencil matches and contrasts perfectly with my eye colour - it looks stunning against my unique eye colour and for that I will be forever grateful and therefore, I shall continue to re-purchase.

Falling in love with a makeup product that makes you feel wonderful, is no different than falling in love with yourself...

3ina The Highlighter in 201

Highlighters are something we are all obsessed with just recently. From the ABH glow kits, to Kylie Jenner's Kylighter - there's a vast array to choose from. 3ina's The Highlighter in the shade 201 (£10.95) is a gorgeous highlighter that has in actual fact, won awards! Dubbed as the highlighter to give you a lightbulb glow and to make you look lit from within, this highlighter DELIVERS and helps you serve up the most amazing looks imaginable. Dab on with your fingers or use a fan brush and then swipe across your cheek bones, cupid's bow, brow bones and bridge of nose for the ultimate GLOW-FACTOR. I would definitely re-purchase because it's just so damn glow-y and who doesn't want to glow!?

Laura Geller Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation

I'm utterly obsessed with Laura Geller and have been for a good few years! Her makeup WORKS.. well.. very well in fact. I adore all of her products from her lipsticks to her foundations, to her highlighters and her eyeshadows - everything she puts out for her customers and fans is second to none on the quality front as well as everything else. I've been using her Baked Liquid Radiance Foundation (£28) for quite a while now and let me just say - it's amazing!! With colour correcting pigments baked into the liquid formula, this foundation is a dream to apply and covers anything and everything. From rosacea to acne and dark circles to pigmentation - this foundation is a saviour! I'll definitely be re-purchasing this.. without a single doubt!

bagsy Ray of Sunshine Perfect Glow Bronzing Powder in 01 Light/Medium

I do love a good bronzer. Well, I didn't too much prior to this summer, but over theist few months I have been utterly besotted. My go-to bronzer at the minute it bagsy's Ray of Sunshine bronzer (£18). Not only does it have the cutest, most adorable quote embossed on the powder, but the powder itself gives me a sunless tan that I love to bits. I swirl my bronzing or blush brush around the powder before applying in the figure 3 - forehead, cheekbones to jawline - this gives me the most amazing natural glow that doesn't look 'sunless' in the slightest.

Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel in Natural

Blushes can look ever so slightly too harsh, especially when in a powder formulation - which is why I am utterly in love with the Pixi sheer cheek gel (£14) in the shade 'Natural'. It's easy to apply, either with your fingers, a beauty blender or with a flat foundation brush - it also blends like a dream and gives you a glowing complexion, which I adore! I'd definitely re-purchase this, especially in this shade.

KIKO Unlimited Double Touch in 117

I have never, ever, ever used a lipstick that doesn't budge AT ALL throughout an entire 12-hour+ long day... until I discovered KIKO's Unlimited Double Touch lipstick (£8.90)! I thought I had found my one and only lipstick when I fell head over heels in love with L'Oréal's Infallible lipstick, but oh boy, how wrong was I!? KIKO's Unlimited Double Touch lipstick doesn't budge - not when I eat, drink, talk.. anything! I don't need to touch it up at all thought the day. It doesn't loose pigment or shine throughout the day. It doesn't transfer onto anything and I'm honestly so in love with this lipstick - can't you tell!? If you're looking for the best lipstick in the world, say hello to this little beauty! I'm definitely going to be purchasing this in a gorgeous poppy red and probably a nude too.. because a girl can never have too many lipsticks.. right? (I am so so so sorry I haven't photographed this product.. when I was taking the photos, I totally forgot that this was in my handbag! I suppose it just shows you all how much I adore it!!! )

KIKO 3D Hydra Lipgloss in 26

When I saw this lipgloss shimmering under the store's light, I fell in love. Never have I ever seen a lipgloss so beautiful, so shimmery, so gorgeous and so glittery. Not only is the 3D Hydra Lipgloss (£7.90) in 26 glittery, gorgeous and utterly stunning, but it's in the most amazing pink hue and smells bloody gorgeous (just like fairy cakes with vanilla buttercream). The gloss itself doesn't feel uber sticky and that's probably why I love this gloss so much. The gloss creates a 3D effect on the lips - it almost looks mirrored or wet!

b. Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in Firestarter

I'm partial to a red lip, as you all well know. It can be super hard to find your perfect red lip as it needs to have the correct undertones for you skin tone, the correct application for your liking and the right formulation for your personal preference. I have a vast variety of red lipsticks - from traditional to matte, liquid lacquer to liquid glossy and liquid matte to stain - but this lipstick is a dream for me. The b. Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Firestarter (£6.99) is the perfect shade for me (deep, bright and bold) and the formulation is matte, non-sticky, non-drying and long-lasting! I really do love this liquid lipstick and I'll definitely be re-purchasing Firestarter again when I run out and in the meantime, I definitely want to try out some more shades, as the formula is just so good!

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre in Blondie

As mentioned previously, I'm not a lover of sticky lip glosses, as I'm sure nobody is. Charlotte Tilbury's Lip Lustre gloss in Blondie (£16.50) is the most amazing non-sticky, mirror shine lip gloss. Blondie is a gorgeous nude hued shade with pinky/peach undertones. The gloss glides on like honey and stays in place for hours, without the need for touching up! I find I only need to touch up my gloss after I eat and drink, but otherwise it's a real good'un! I love this Lip Lustre because it looks amazing worn alone or worn over the top of a Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G. lipstick, especially Bitch Perfect or Penelope Pink!

Chantecaille Matte Chic Lipstick in Christy

If you're not keen on matte lipsticks that dry completely, then Chantecaille's Matte Chic Lipstick  (£33 each) range will be for you. I have this gorgeous lipstick in the shade 'Christy' - a gorgeous muted rose hued shade, which looks incredibly natural and super pretty. The formulation is silky and satin-like, it glides on easily and stays in place for ages (it doesn't flake, nor does it fade). I don't find this lipstick drying, nor do I find it sticky or uncomfortable to wear on my lips. The shade is perfect, the formulation is perfect and it's safe to say I'm juts a little bit in love. When I run out of this shade, I'll definitely be re-purchasing - it's just an amazing all-rounder!

Clinique X Jonathan Adler in Palm Beach Pop

Clinique's Pop Lip lipsticks are AMAZING and definitely a staple collection within my lipstick collection {to read more on my favourite shades and formulations from the Clinique Lip Pop range, check out my full review here}. So, as you can imagine, when I saw that Clinique were releasing a Limited Edition collection with Jonathan Adler for Summer 2017 (£16.50 each), I freaked out just a little bit!! I have one of Clinque X Jonathan Adler's exclusive shades - Palm Beach Pop - a gorgeous bright pink that is so perfect for anytime for the year, especially summer and the transitioning months as we approach autumn!
