Burberry's SS16 collection is neutral. Simple and easy on the eye.. my thoughts!? Keep reading...
The most highly anticipated showcase of all. Burberry, the quintessentially British brand that all British fashionistas look forward too season after season. Attendees at this masterful showcase included some of my favourite bloggers such as Victoria from inthefrow.com and Tanya Burr from tanyaburr.co.uk. Victoria's blog post on her time at the Burberry show was truly inspiring as she speaks about how it's always been a major goal of hers, along with millions on other journalists, including myself. She was incredibly lucky and blessed to receive an invitation to the backstage goings on aswell as being able to sit near some of the greats - Cara Delevinge, Jourdan Dunn, Paloma Faith and Kate Moss, who all attended the Burberry SS16 show wearing Burberry of course.

Now, on to the collection itself...
Black lace, white flowing fabrics and sheer fabrics teamed with gold cording. This collection screams British heritage and that's what I adore most about this collection. One of my favourite aspects of this collection was the fact that some of the models wore a gorgeous Nylon and Leather rucksack which I believe added a real classic yet laid back edge to the entire show. The contrast between the relaxed vibe that the rucksack gave off, and the structured yet tailored vibe that the jackets and dresses gave off, was a great concept that added a realism that I adored. The rucksacks showed the consumer that Burberry's new collection isn't just for dressing up fancy, it can be dressed down too.

The chunky shoes looked amazing teamed with their new collection. Gold chains embellished the front of them which I think added a chic aspect. Mesh heels added a little something extra to the mor structured dresses. Gold was a prominent yet subtle tone throughout this collection, with it making appearances on the rucksacks, jackets, shoes and bags with chunky chains.
