After a hectic week, it's nice to relax - Welcome to Mollie's Sunday Reflection; a new weekly instalment here on TPOMQ...
Sunday is a day of reflection, relaxation and rejuvenation. It's a day to kick back and relax whilst mulling over the previous week's events. A nice cup of herbal tea, a good book and a nice hot bubble bath - ahh, perfect!
This week has been hectic, to say the least; I quit something that was making me deeply stressed and unhappy and since then I have found a new lease of life regarding my blog and YouTube. I've decided to blog everyday and post YouTube videos every Saturday and sometimes Wednesday - I really hope I can stick to it! The moral of the story is, do what you love, what you irrevocably, eternally love and you'll be happy and content in yourself. Being happy is the key to being healthy - physically and mentally. If you're doing something that makes you unhappy, you're mental state won't appreciate it, nor will your physic - stress spots, weight changes, dark circles and more. I can't stress to you - the person reading this - enough, do more of what makes you happy!
I've also been packing, packing my life away for what seems like the one millionth time in my almost 18 years on this planet. The fact that I might become homeless still lingers each day and the worry and anxiousness that me and my mum are enduring is awful. The not knowing, the 'going through the motions' of packing and having no clue what's going on. My life has been tough but I look at everything as a test - to see how strong I am - to see how much I can endure. So far, I'd say I'm pretty strong but lets not mess with fate and jinx the future. I hope me and my mum get through this, I hope there's a light at the end of the long, dark tunnel. Not to self: Stay positive Mollie, stay positive!
On the up-side; I'm planning to make a trip to London over the coming weeks - something to take my mind off of everything, purchase some new clothes and stop off at my favourite coffee shops! I LOVE LONDON! Soho, Oxford Street, New Bond Street, Covent Garden and Regent Street to name a few of my shopping hotspots. I just love the diversity of London - the shops, streets, sights, people and clothes! I'll be vlogging the whole day, of course! Vlogging is incredibly enjoyable, simple and a lot more interactive that traditional 'sit down' videos. I love vlogging, I honestly do. I'm also planning to give myself a health kick, maybe a soup/juice diet or some other fad. I need to get rid of my big bum as I bloody hate it!
Last Sunday I had such a fabulous day - I had a Twilightathon! If you know me, you'll know I'm a MASSIVE Twilight Fan (Twihard) - I have been for a few years and I'm rather obsessed with Edward Cullen AKA Robert Pattinson! I watched every single DVD from the Saga, back to back from around 11am until 9pm - it was AMAZING!! Now I'm re-reading the books again because, well, the books are always amazing!!!
So, my week hasn't been that exciting, nor that boring - just an average week in the life of me, Mollie Quirk! I hope you enjoy the new plans for my blog. Every day there will be a new blog post - Saturday's will be my Coffee Club and Sunday's will be my Sunday Reflection whilst everything else in the middle will be fashion and beauty based.
I hope you've had an amazing week, regardless of what you've had to endure; good or bad - simply kick back with you favourite book, drink and background music and relax, after all - you deserve it! I hope you all have a fabulous Sunday, stay strong, stay blessed and chill out!
What has your week been like? Let me know in the comments below!

Hey, Mollie! Great post. I really feel the whole "do more of what makes you happy" motto. I was stuck in an internship that I really didn't enjoy too much so I quit. Although it was a good experience, it made me physically worn out and sad. After quitting, I now have time to work on my blog, be with my friends, and pack (because I am moving too).
ReplyDeleteYou have a great view on life and I know everything will work out for you! Sending my best.

Thanks Jillian! I was in an Internship too funny enough and it was making me sad and worn out - I loved it but I decided I need to concentrate on my blog and youtube more; after all, that's what makes me happy! Good luck with your move! - I just checked out your blog and I love it!! xx
DeleteOMG I love Twilight too. It feels like years since I watched it and read the books. I think you've inspired a new evening activity for me! I'm happy you're going to be posting more - especially if it's what makes you happy.
ReplyDeleteIt's scary to hear that you weren't happy in your internship as I am starting one at the end of this year... Hopefully mine is enjoyable (eek!)
Keep smiling :)

Twilight is amazing! Haha! I'm super excited about the Storyteller's Short Stories which premieres, today in fact! You should take a look at their twitter! Don't worry about your internship; I'm sure you will love it! I was sort of pushed into taking mine and didn't realise what it actually entailed until I was halfway through - you'll be fine and you'll love it! Good luck with your internship, I'm sure you'll have a fabulous experience! xxxx
